LMC's ICD 10 CM/PCS Medical Coding Course

This class is created for all levels of medical coding students.  This course is an excellent course for students new to coding, and it is also beneficial for coding professionals who want to gain more knowledge of ICD10cm/ pcs coding and improve their coding skills. This course is taught live and is offered on-demand.  Students attending this course live will meet on Wednesdays starting May 26, 2021, for 10 weeks.    Students will learn to code using the ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS Official Coding Guidelines. We will discuss the ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS format and structure.   Students will get up-to-date guidance on coding signs and symptoms, diseases, disorders, procedures, conditions, complications of care, long-term care, and more.  This course includes the fiscal year 2021 code updates, including new information on COVID-19!  To apply their newfound knowledge, students will code cases.  Method of teaching includes lectures and hands-on coding.

Coding books must be purchased separately. The course textbook is included in the course tuition.
